Aloha ! Monica san Nakia san !!and Na-Maka Ohana! I'm doing well !!!! The rainy season is over. After the rainy season,summer begins. According to the weather forecast,it'll be very hot this summer. Today's temperature is 35 degrees.(95F) Japan is the Star Festival this week!! Na-Maka Japan participate in the Star Festival. I am looking forward to getting BBS from you. Mahalo. Koji

Thinking of all of you!
Koji, Sayuri & the rest of our Na Maka Japan Ohana, I hope that you are all well! It was so very nice to see Koji in Hawaii last month. I hope that you were able to relax a little while you were here. Today is a rainy day in Hawaii. It made me think of tsuyu(?) in Japan. Is it raining there? We need more rain to help the farmers. They did't get enough rain this year. This weekend we will be celebrating Independence Day on the 4th of July. I don't know what we will do. The kids enjoy lighting fireworks. The City would like to ban fireworks but a lot of people are against it. I am busy at work and it will get worse over the next several months. It should get better for me by the time you come to Hawaii in November! I look forward to seeing you then! Good luck with your ho'ike in August! You will have so much fun with the group from Hawaii! They are working very hard and I can't wait for them to experience Japan like I did last year! It was so memorable! Thank you! Take care! Love, Jen Santo

KOJI returned home safely. He returned from Hawaii, and became energetic a little. I wish to express my gratitude to you. And, I received a lot of cards and presents. I was very impressed to see it. ☆^ヽ(^-ﾟ)vThank you♪v(ﾟ∇^)/^☆ I keep very energetic now. Therefore, worry is not needed. Though I undergo the operation in September I think that I can go to Hawaii by becoming energetic in November.
