Hi Koji-san!
I hope that you had a nice lunch! Business in Hawaii is slow too. Everyone is trying to cut expenses. I am lucky to be working for a big company. I hope! Hopefully the economy will recover soon. I think it will take some time. The Yen is still strong against the dollar. Good for Koji's wallet!

I am not a master photographer like you but I do like to take pictures. These are flowers that are blooming around our house. Lucky for me I don't have to do much to take care of them.

Time to go to sleep! Long day of training tomorrow!

Take care!
Jen

Getting closer...
Aloha Na Maka Ohana!

I'm still counting down the days to Japan...163, to be exact! We are all so excited! And to add to our excitement, we are now preparing for Hong Kong! It will be so much fun to explore Hong Kong with all of you! What an impressive sized group we'll have! Watch out Hong Kong! Na Maka is taking over!!! =)

This past weekend we all huddled around the TV to watch Merrie Monarch - outstanding! The different halau practiced very hard & their dedication showed. They were all great, but none better than Ke Kai O Kahiki!! Woo hoo...tell Sayuri-san, she needs to see that kahiko! Oh boy...

Anywho, I'm off to pick up the kids from school! Looking forward to seeing everyone real soon!

*Attaching pictures taken at our Hong Kong meeting, of me with Jaydon, Rose's son (Brandon's newest baby brother!)...kawaii!!!

Much love,
Noelle

Happy Birthday
Tiani and Moani said to say hi. They miss everyone. Especially Miyu chan. Right now, we're at my in laws house celebrating my father in-laws birthday. I uploaded a picture of Tiani without her front two teeth. We're about to have dinner, so we'll right more later. Aunty Ami and Aunty Sayuri, Tiani has been practicing the hand game. She still remembers it :) take care and talk to you soon. Uncle Koji, have you been practicing your Poi balls? 268-1.jpg

I am looking forward to seeing Koji & Sayuri in June. We have had nice weather over the past few days. The beautiful sunset was Friday night on our way to dinner. The second picture is the view from our patio Saturday morning.

Kanji
Hi Chucky san.
Your Hawaiian name is beautiful.
Kanji of "THE GIFT OF LOVE "is difficult.
Because Kanji and the hiragana are necessary.
Do you know a hiragana ?
Japanese of "THE GIFT OF LOVE" is "Ai no okurimono.
I'm sorry .I did not watch Merrie Monarch.
Because granddaughter's Miyu came to my house . Did you enjoy Merrie Monarch?
Perhaps, I will see Merrie Monarch with DVD.
Take care that you don't work too hard.
Mahalo.
Koji

PS
愛=Ai= LOVE
の=no=OF
贈物=okurimono=THE GIFT

Aloha Koji-san & Sayuri-san
Happy belated Aloha Friday! I just wanted to say aloha and I hope you are watching the Merrie Monarch on the internet. The presentation of the Dancers are good this year like always.

I wanted to ask if you knew the kanji for: THE GIFT OF LOVE.

My Hawaiian name Kamakanaokealoha means the gift of love. I wanted to know the kanji for the same meaning.

Mahalo nui loa! We can't wait to see you this summer.

Aloha,

Chuckysan
