I hope that all of Na-Maka Hawaii is doing well!!
A hot day continues.
But weather is unstable because a typhoon goes along the Sea of Japan today,yesterday.
A total formation lesson begins every Sunday, and we practice hard for Ho'ike.
We are looking forward to dancing with the group from Hawaii in Ho'ike.

Wow - time has flown by...it is only a couple weeks until we arrive in Japan, I am getting very excited! I just had my first week back at work with my students...it has been warm here, but not as warm as Japan :) I hope everyone is doing well and see you all soon!!!

Tomorrow is August!!! We are coming very soon and I am very excited to be able to spend time with Na Maka Japan ohana! I am hoping that it will not be too HOT in Japan when we are there! I am thankful to be going to Japan!

Hello! All Na-Maka Hawaii! This is Keiko & Ryosuke. Japan is hot hot hot 「あつーい！」
every day. But We went on a trip .we went to Yoron island. It's Kagoshima prefecture. It's near Okinawa. It'small island, but it has very beautiful beach. I like taking a nap on the beach. We spent happy time.

| Beautiful weather!

We've been having beautiful weather. It's a little hot but not as hot as it is in Japan! We're so lucky to have trade winds!
Here are pictures I took of a recent sunset, the orange tree in our back yard and lemon from the same tree! The orange tree was grafted on to a lemon tree. A few years ago (after 40 years), a branch grew straight up through the orange tree and gave us lemon! This is the most lemon we've had. It must be a special year!
I worked a lot this weekend but still have so much more work to do! I need to work extra hard now so I can go to poly & hula class to prepare for our ho'ike. I look forward to seeing you in November! Please take good care of yourself and Sayuri so we can see you again soon!
Have fun with the group going to Japan next month! I can't wait to hear all about their trip!

Last night it was so hot Icouldn't sleep(-_-)zzz
It's so hot I don't want to do anything.
It's awfully hot this summer.

My sisters and cousin had a great time in Hong Kong! They are looking forward to our next trip!
I just finished a busy quarter end. I'm so tired but there's so much more work to do! I missed hula and poly last week because I had to work late so I was so happy to go to poly tonight!
The night blooming cactus in our back yard was in full bloom this weekend. It has such a sweet fragrance but the flower only lasts through the night. There were 19 blossoms! Usually only about 4 or 5.
It sounds like it's very hot in Japan! They're going to bake! They'll still enjoy Japan especially seeing and spending time with you, Sayuri and the rest of our Na Maka Japan ohana!

Japan is very hot(>_<)・・・・・・Today's temperature is 37 degrees.
Yesterday was the hottest day this summer.
According to the forecast, it's going to be hot and humid tonight.
